The folks over at appletvhacks.net have come up with a reletivly simple way to get be able to use ssh with your apple t.v. Please note that you do have to have the OSBoot disk alredy on your desktop before attemping to begin the procces.

Alley Insider suggests that Apple’s new product in fall is actually a quicktime encoder/decoder. Putting in a separate microprocessor would help lower-end and/or older macs to handle different kind of videos, not to mention save battery on mobile devices such as an iphone.

Recently the community sources packege was updated and the ispazio repo was added. Along witch came a new winterboard theme, and a auto correct disablerer for the keyboard.

I was looking for a good way to make sure that my dock was sized properly (for my new theme) and i found a .psd template made by a modmyifone user called loring. It shows you where all of the icons would be, where the dock would be, and where the status bar is.

According to some of our readers, the new 2.0.1 update fixes any and all issues with syncing and backing up. One reader said that instead of twenty minutes it took two to back up his iphone ( 15 apps and all).

The new version supports 2.0.1 and has the new installer 4 (beta)

A Beta of the installer has been leaked via RapidShare. Although it’s a beta, people have been saying that it is a serious improvement from installer 3. Here are some ScreenShots form iPhoneAlley and the RapidShare donwload.

When first launched Movies.app seemed cheap and, even if free, not worth it. But, i was never able to make myself pay $10 for an app that had a free version. Lucky for me, the new update to the Movies.app makes is just as good as any other show times/ratings/ticket getting app out there. The new update features the ability to locate you at the push of a button and rottentomatoes  ratings. Unfortunately the app still only works in the U.S., thus rendering it useless for a lot of users. If you live in the U.S. and you’re looking for a good Movies Theater app, this is your free solution.
